Recently moved to small apartment and miss my cats and dogs, but this wouldn't be the place for them. Are there breeds of birds that could provide me company and not be distressed at my 12-hour workdays? Would I need to raise them so they knew me better or can adult birds adjust to new owners? Sorry for simple questions, I love pets but never owned birds.
