my bird started acting like he was kind of gagging tonight. he stretches his neck like a chicken thats getting ready to crow and he opens his mouth like hes gagging on something. what could it be?

Sounds like he's trying to 'pump' his crop out; he could have an infection (ingluvitis) or an obstruction / foreign body down there. Get him to your avain vet ASAP and have him checked out! :) DocB
