I recently was in a behavior Health Unit at a particular hospital. A male orderly walked in on me without knock nor saying a word. The entire story is so incredible it will be hard for you to believe. No question in my find they have violated CA Code 5325 all subheadings under section 4 relevant to all inter-twinned with me telling them I cant hear and not assisting me in ways which I requested to help me (b) A right to dignity, privacy, and humane care. c) A right to be free from harm or abuse. These codes can easily be found but I have no doubt that they have also broken federal statues.

Nothing I do not know how to find an attorney. The right one I mean and about what to do. I need a good attorney.
Hi, and Welcome to JustAnswer. Thank you for your question. I am very sorry to hear how you were treated and I agree with you 1,000% that everyone has a right to privacy, has a right to be treated with dignity, and most certainly to be free form harm and abuse, especially in a hospital setting. Individuals go to hospitals to get well, not to leave the hospital feeling worse. I am not permitted to refer specific attorneys, however, I can give you the California Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service. Call them and tell them what you were subjected to, ask for the names of several attorneys with at least 10 years experience in personal injury lawsuits and specifically your type of case. Speak to all of them, ask a lot of questions, then select the one with whom you feel the most comfortable and who has answered all your questions without reservations or hedging. These cases are taken on a Contingency fee basis, so you will not have any out of pocket legal fees, costs, or expenses. The attorney will be paid only out of any settlement, verdict or judgment: http://www.californiaattorneyreferral.com/?PPCCode=G4-CA-LRIS LEGAL NOTICE: My Answer is for information purposes only and should not be taken as legal advice. Hi, I am a former Assistant to a Supreme Court Judge and have 25 years experience in personal injury. You are right that there may be a violation of the Code you mentioned. Furthermore, I believe you would like a monetary award. In that case, it may depend on what happened specifically and I understand that it might not be something you wish to elaborate on. If you have suffered a physical or emotional/psychological injury as a result of this aide coming into your room without your permission you must receive treatment. Make sure the medical heath provider indicates your claim, date of incident and details and documents your physical and/or psychological complaints. You must hire a lawyer right away. If this is a municipal facility you may have a very short time to make a claim. Best of luck and feel better.
