How is her diet?

How frequently does she pass stool?

What treatment did doctor prescribe?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
She eats very little. I think it's because of problems she is having with her world
Apparently she is having two episodes a day of diarrhea or she gets constipated. My daughter hasn't taken her to see a doctor for these symptoms. She has had a lot of antibiotics for strep throats these past six months

Thank you for the input.
I am sorry for her symptoms.
Constipation is often a problem in a child.
Children can pass stool every few days without any problem.
Hard stool can produce fissure, pain.
Children are choosy about food.
Still we have to try our best.
Dietary measures usually help a lot.
Please try to give more water or fluid.
In many cases it has been seen that less water intake is related to constipation.
Please try to keep a routine to let her sit in the potty/ toilet for 5-10 minutes after each meal.
Oatmeal, brown bread or high fiber containing food can be given.
Vegetable like peas, beans, spinach, carrot, potato are very good fiber containing foods.
Salads are helpful.
Cooked leafy vegetables are also good and should be given daily.
Instead of fruit juice, fresh fruits like peaches apricots, prunes, ,pears, plums etc. can be given and those would help to relieve constipation.
When you take food, let her sit with you.
She can try those & learn to take variety of foods.
If the stool is hard to pass and she is pushing hard, you can occasionally give glycerin suppository for easy passage of stool.
Other laxative can be used after consulting with doctor.
If she feels pain much you can try OTC anti-hemorrhoid cream for a few days.
If the pain continues, let her checked by her doctor.
I hope this information will be helpful.
