Customer Question

my son has had a fever since 9AM this morning. At 7:30PM it was 101.3, at midnight 102.5 and just now 103.7. I gave him ibuprofen at 2PM we went to Patient First at 7:30 when he said he wasn't feeling any better. They prescribed antibiotics (gave him one at 10:30PM when we got home) and he had tylenol at Patient first (don't know dosage) but I gave him a 500mg Tylenol at midnight and another at 1:30AM

Hi, Sorry about this illness. Please continue if needed, both tylenol every 4-5 hours and/or Ibuprofen every eight hours. Antibiotic may work from next day or two, and so will have to wait and see, please do visit doctor again if no relief after 48 hours, for possible tests like blood, urine etc. Please report earlier if any fresh symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea or eye symptoms.

Good luck to him.
