Customer Question

I'm traveling on business and my wife said that our 17 month old son, who is always a great sleeper, is waking up every 30 minutes crying. Even when he's asleep, he's still crying a little bit. Kind of a recovery cry after a real cry. What would be causing this? We're both at a loss for what to do. He has no fever at all.

Hi, common cause is abdominal colic. Please give only sugar water and comfort, laying up on tummy and thumping over back. May try baby gripe mixture couple of teasp.'s and see. Benadryl also may help if former fails. For any tenseness of tummy and tender spots, visit to ER advisable.Good luck.

What would cause it? Also, what would the tender spots mean?
Expert:  Dr. Yogindra Vasavada replied 7 months ago.
Indigestion usually. Is he constipated? Tender spot means cry more on pressure to certain area of tummy.
