My 6 yr old daughter has a limp on right side. Says she has slight pain in thigh. No other symptoms. About 2 weeks with this pain. What could this be?

Could you elaborate? She's seen a pediatrician and they did not give much info except order blood and xray but I have to wait until Monday and I'm really worried. She's a gymnast 3 days a week so she's very active. Will blood work and xray show what's going on?

My biggest fear would be Legg-Calve-Perthes disease

This is one of the most common causes of limp in a child of her age.

This needs to be evaluated immediately
