Greetings,

Thank you for your question.

I am Dr. Su S. and I will try my best to help you.

Since when is she taking amoxicillin?

Why is she taking it?

How old is she?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
She has taken it for a week now for acute bronchitis. The prescription length is 10 days twice a day, 2 tsp of 500 mg. She is 3.5 years old.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
She isn't having trouble breathing and hasn't complained of itching.

Thank you for the input.

Drug allergy usually occurs when the medicines are taken & disappears when the drug is withdrawn.

But in a few cases it can occur a few days after starting the medicine.

When there is no itching, I feel you should contact her doctor for an examination to decide about continuing antibiotic.

Sometimes, infections can cause rash too.

The nature of the rash or hive needs to be determined.

You can give Zyrtec, meanwhile.

This will distinguish whether it is allergic in nature.

I hope this information will be helpful.
