My 6 month old has a terrible cough that keeps her up during the night she's not coughing anything up but can her it move when she coughs I put Vicks on the bottom of her feet and she has a humidifier in her room she's not running a fever as of now is there anything else I can do to help her or anything I can give her to suppress her cough so she can finally get some decent rest

Young babies of her age would not be able to cough up sputum.

They usually swallow it.

As she is not having fever, tylenol would not be needed.

Fever may not always be present in infection.

Humidifier is good as you have put in her room.

Please try to keep her well hydrated.

If you feel there is any nasal secretion, obstruction, you can use saline nasal drop.

If you notice any breathing difficulty, I would advise to take her to doctor for an examination.
