My seven year old son has been diagnosed with migraines. Now

Customer Question

Hi, my seven year old son has been diagnosed with migraines. Now he has a couple of symptoms I don't know if they are related or not to the migraines. Motion sickness in the car and he wakes up nauseous several times a week.

Hello, Motion sickness in car is not related to diagnosis of Migraine. The waking up during night with nausea may be related if associated or followed by (one sided) headache. If the symptoms are frequent, he may benefit from preventive medicine.

Night time waking due to nausea could be related to acid reflux or hyperacidity. Please get work-up like esophageal pH recording through sensor probe and treated with aciloc. Night meal should be non-spicy and at least 2 hours before sleep.

Good luck to him.
