My six year old woke up swollen eyes and hands. She has a rash all over her body which consists of liitle fine bumps and on her tongue now she is complaining that her neck and hurts and it hurts when she walks what could be causing this. I have taken her to the ER waited 5hrs just to get she has a cold but she is not nor have been sick. She is scratching like crazy from the itchy rash gave benadryl nothing works. I took her to Houston to Texas Childrens Hospital they say it looks like scarlet fever but yet did not give her any antibiotics to take I think it is scabies

Hello, Scabies is chronic condition and only having rash in skin-folds and between digits. Any infection like scarlet fever will have fever, sore throat etc.

Please give cetirizin syrup once, benadryl every six hours and allow cold shower. Please upload a picture of more affected area using paper-clip like icon.
