When did the symptoms start?

Does he have fever, cough?

How are stool and urine?

How is food intake?

Hi! I just noticed yesterday that he had a runny nose and was sneezing alot. My husband who is home with him right now says he isn't really hungry. I haven't noticed a fever or u unusual stool or urine. I myself is feeling the begining of a cold. I work at a grocery store and its going around.

Hello Michelle,

Thank you for all the input.

The symptoms can be due to viral episode.

Loss of appetite is common in infection.

In viral infection, more fluid should be given.

As there is no diarrhea, vomiting, no need to give Pedialyte.

Soup, diluted fruit juice, milk, plain water can be increased to have more fluid.

Nasal saline drop can help in congestion.

As he does not have fever, no need to give Tylenol.

Keep the room humidified, it can be soothing in congestion.

If there is increased coughing, respiratory rate, then you should take him to doctor for an evaluation.
