This answer was rated:

My eleven year old child drank a cup of hot chocolate.... only to find out it had worms or bugs in the chocolate!!!! It was one of those prepackeaged Swiss Miss chocolates, she is so grossed out about this, I've checked the other packages and they all have these worms or some kind of bugs in them. Will this effect her health any, she drank a cup of it before we discovered this!!!! Thanks :(

Bugs/worms in chocolate means, it is spoilt.
She may develop tummy ache, vomiting or diarrhea.
If she develops any of these symptoms, do get medical attention immediately.

Hi Sandy,
How is your daughter?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi, she seems to be fine thanks. I worry though that those worms can be growing inside of her!

Nice to hear that she is fine.

No, the worms cannot grow inside her as they will get destroyed in the acidic environment in the stomach.

ok thanks, that's what I was hoping! I wrote to the manufacture but they blame it on the warehouse or store storage. Oh well.
