I have a five year old little girlhas cold symptons, runny nose, no temp, sore throat - and has woken up this morning with a rash around her mouth? Is this related to her cold?

The rash is probably related and due to the drainage from her nose or just licking her lips.
Otherwise, it could be the virus itself as many have rashes associated with them and the good news is that when the rash appears they are usually nearly over the infection.
I thought as much. Fantastic! Thank you. I kept her home from school today - my husband seems to think she could have gone to school as she is still bright and up and about - but I wasn't sure when I saw the rash....
