PediatricMD :

Hello & welcome to Just Answer!

If you have any questions after reading my answer, be sure to let me know.

PediatricMD :

I am sorry to hear about the devastating accident that your son Ahmed has suffered from

PediatricMD :

While you have not mentioned regarding any neuro-imaging done (like MRI),

PediatricMD :

however from your description it is quite clear that extensive damage to the brain has taken place during the strangulation

PediatricMD :

It is infact a miracle that he is alive

PediatricMD :

The good news is that whatever damage has been done will not worsen with the passage of time, and his functioning would improve with the supportive treatment that is being provided

PediatricMD :

and given his extensive and severe symptoms, he will not become normal even with the best possible treatment

Dr. Gupta and other Pediatrics Specialists are ready to help you
