Hello. My daughter is 2 months old, got vaccinated yesterday, with slight fever last night till tonight. Just now around 3 cc (spread out size of a baby's palm) size of digested milk got out from her mouth upon holding her. Seems digestion is not good, as her previous meal was around 2 hours ago. Should I do anything to her situation? Is her fever ok?
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Female Age: 2 months Already Tried: Her meal size is 4 oz of formula milk. I put an extra 1.5 oz of water into her bottle for today's meals as I wanted her to have more water intake to ease the fever.
Hello, The fever may remain for 24-36 hours after vaccine shot. Slight regurgitation would be normal even without fever. In presence of fever and repeated vomiting, a couple of ounces of glucose water may be allowed every few hours.
Oh thank you Dr. Vasavada. So seems she is still reacting normal now.
I'll accept the answer now. Thank you so much!! Eased my worries.
You are welcome.
