Greetings,How frequently do the exacerbations/ flare ups occur? What treatment did the dermatologist advise? Do you have any family history?Regards.
nope no family history.
It appears.. at her shoulders.. very light dry skin patches... and at her arm fold...
The have given some lotion to apply everyday... can be worn after bath.. or before bath then wash off... specially for eczema
Thank you for the input. There can be recurrent flares or exacerbations of eczema. Dermatologists can usually diagnose it by examination. You can also consider taking an allergy test. Allergy is often associated with eczema. Many children have improvement after 2 years. In some it may disappear by early adulthood. As lotion is helping you can continue it. Different ointments/ creams can be applied. Mometasone, alcometasone, triamcinolone, fluocinonide creams are commonly used. If you have any query, please feel free to ask.It will be my privilege to assist you. Regards.
Is baby sebamed product is good for this skin types?
Yes baby Sebamed products are good for dry skin. They can be used in eczema.
one more last question.. is fresh cow milk good for my daughter? does it cause allergics.. like eczema..... or goat milk is better?
When she is taking cow's milk regularly and she does not have any exacerbation, I think does not have any allergy to cow's milk. She can continue it. If some one is allergic cow's milk he or she can have allergy to goat milk too. Sometimes goat milk is better digested and have more protein and fat content compared to cow's milk but smell and taste may not be good for the baby.
