usually these are caused by a virus. if his symptoms continue for more than three days, he will need to see his pediatrition. Also if his fever gets very high make sure to bring it down with tylenol and keep up with the hydration. another reason to get him seen earlier is if he gets short of breath or very dehydrated. Use Pedialyte for hydration plus popcicles (they ususally will not refuse popcicles)

i was told is a virus at the pharmacy and it started on monday is it safe for me to still keep him at home or take him to the doctor
