Thank you for theinput.

The frequency of urine can be due to some irritation in the urethra. Or it may be due to some infection . Please look at the urine he passes . Note its color . If it is red , then you have to take urgent medical attention. If not , you can keep him observing. If he continues like this his urine has to be tested for the presence of any infection in it.

Hope this information will help you.
Regards.

Reply to Dr. SS's Post: diabetes runs in my family do you think i should be concerned that it might have a connection. He is not usually thirsty, it is a little odd to me why he has to urinate so often.

Customer replied 1728 days and 2 hours ago.

Are you still there Dr.? Are you able to answer my last question?

The children if they have diabetes is Type 1 but adult on set diabetes is usually type 2 diabetes which is more reated to family history.
But symptoms are most likely due to urethral irritation.
Routine uirine examinaion can detect both sugar, infection or crystals etc. You do an urine test which can determine the causative factor.
Give him lots of fluid.
Hope his early recovery.
Regards.
