Resolved Question:

My 3 year old is complaining of headache and body aches; she also has a fever of up go 101.7; she had these same symptoms two weeks ago that went away after a couple of days. What could this be? Should I go to the doctor?

Hi

So at present there is a headache ,fever and body aches?

Where specifically are the aches?

Are there any other symptoms?

Reply to Dr Jef Burk's Post: She's not very specific - she just says her legs and arms hurt. Her headache seems to have gotten a little worse today (I gave her Tylenol at 8:00am and it's still hurting) and she says she's cold today. Her appetite is down a little bit, but she's not sleeping any more than usual.

Hi

I think she should be seen by her own Dr.

Certainly if I spoke to the parents of a patient of mine with the same symptoms I'd fit them in with an appointment.

It may well be a simple viral infection but an exam is appropriate.
