Good evening, I would like to help you today.
One such stroller that has great revies, and falls within your price range and description is the chicco keyfit 30 travel system; it's going for about $350 on Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/Chicco-Cortina-KeyFit-Travel-Adventure/dp/B000MAERLG
and pardon me, I meant reviews.
thanks. is there a professional review for this product that we can read up on.
Give me a minute, I will find one for you; and I suppose that you are looking for a stroller with the car seat included?
also I guess 30 pound weight limit should be enough?
yes, a stroller with car seat is preferred. but not absolutely necessary if it is hard to find one that meets our requirements.
yes, actually, they say 30 pounds for baby, but supposedly there is a 50 pound total for other items as well
I am finding a hard time finding a review that is recognized as being from a professional; plenty of consumer reviews, but here are a few from several websites that supposedly specialize in reviewing baby strollers: http://babystrollerreviewsinfo.com/chicco-cortina-keyfit-30-travel-system
Consumer Search.com provides reviews from consumers, who are hand-picked to give reviews, and paid, so they are pretty professional in the review process: http://www.consumersearch.com/car-seat-strollers/chicco-cortina-travel-system
ok. does baby to ride high with this stroller. most strollers, the baby rides too low to the ground?
Pardon me, I was searching out more reviews for you. I am yet to find how far it is off the ground, and pictures can be deceiving, however it does look as though it sits up higher than many strollers. And, yes, I agree, most strollers do sit too low.
Let me see what else I can find on this one, and what other strollers may work for you. Eddie Bauer usually has nice strollers.
ok. I am going out for awhile. I would be interested in anything that fits my criteria. 1. we like the baby to ride high 2. baby face front or we can rotate him to face us 3. price under $500
No problem, I am on the search for you; I'll find several options, choices are always good.
Now this is an interesting stroller; The stokke xplory: http://www.stokke.com/stroller/stokke-xplory-concept.aspx
a bit pricey though (just thought I'd let you know about it. It's about $900, but one of the highly promoted features of it is that it sits high, unlike most other car seats.
Now this one, the Maxi Cosi stroller might look more like what you want, price and all, It sits high, has a reversible seat, reclines, and can hold a supported bassinet:http://www.maxi-cosi.com/us-en/products/strollers/strollers/foray-lx.aspx
There are several from about $300-500 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Dbaby-products&field-keywords=maxi+cosi+stroller
Let me see if I can find some reviews on this one
Here's one: http://www.stroller.com/maxi-cosi-strollers.html
And here's another; not a professional review, but this link has several varied reviews, good and a few bad:http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/kids-maxi-cosi-foray-stroller-reviews
Uppa Baby also has several car seats, and adjustable height is a feature of them; this one's a little steep, $700 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/UPPAbaby-Vista-Stroller-Cole-Slate/dp/B004IYNIQC/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1344141907&sr=1-1&keywords=uppa+baby+vista
The Uppa Baby Cruz is a little less expensive: http://www.albeebaby.com/uppa-baby-cruz-stroller-denny-red.html
Here's a nice video review of the Uppa Vista:http://www.babygizmo.com/media/video_uppababyvista.php
This website seems to be dedicated to reviewing baby products, this may also prove to be a valuable resource for you during your carriage quest: http://www.babygizmo.com/
I hope some of this helps, please let me know if you need any further assistance.
