Customer Question

Hi, I have a daughter of 12. Her anger at who knows what, has always been simmering under the surface, not violent or lashing out just general grumpiness with everything. I thought that as she matured it would be easier to speak to her clearly at what is it that makes her so cross. Her mood, turns so quickly. She doesn't appear to know why she reacts this way. I recognise that she/we need outside help, but don't know where to turn. A physcologist, therapist, counsellor I'm not sure? I feel as though if it continues I will lose my funny, loving considerate girl. Most of her snappiness is aimed at the immediate family but I believe she probably doesn't reserve it only for us as friendships have never been easy for her, she comes across as too needy. please help. Hello and Thank You for using Just Answer. I am sorry to hear about the problems with your daughter. About how long has she been behaving in such a manner? Have there been any recent life changes or stressors in her life? Are both parents in the home? Is she an only child? What grade is she in? Does she have many friends? What does she do for fun? Thank you!!!
