Resolved Question:

I there any law that says a non related 13 yr. old boy (step brother) can babysit 2 girls 8 and 11 for weeks when school is out. He makes poor grades and his dad is not a good role model.

Hello..It depends on the state that you live in. Only a few states have legislated that a child can baby sit other children starting at 12 or 13 years of age. It would be wise if the baby sitter take CPR classes and know some other basic first aid skills. It also depends on the level of maturity of the child. From the description that you have provided of the boy, it would not be a very wise idea to let him baby sit, especially babsitting girls.
