Hi,
This is a fairly common problem and there are a few tips that ma help...
Stop, feed her, comfort her, but most of all, try to time drives when you know she'll either doze off, or, have someone ride with you whenever possible. Here is another miracle cure that may work ... CD called ''For Crying Out Loud'' at Rockridge Kids (also available from Amazon). It's got 8 tracks of noises that infants supposedly love (i.e. static, background noise in a restaurant, the vacuum cleaner). This can work for some kids too !
For some more tip I would recommend this excellent resource

Do remember she will grow out of this :) it will take time but this is going to be a phase !
All the best
