Hello,

Children need consistency and patterns in their lives, to establish good habits and morals. If a parent wavers in their values and principles, this will send mixed signals to the children and they will become confused and not understand the difference between right and wrong.

A parent (or other childcare provider) who does not adopt set values and principles when caring for children, is doing those children a disservice, as they will have no pattern of good behavior to emulate, assimilate and follow.
