If I am understanding your question, you are looking for something to read about your child stealing and the punishments. If so here is a link you might think is useful
Hope this helps, If I am on the wrong path of what you are seeking, please let me know.
Legally, stealing is a crime. One can be placed on probation, ordered to a juvenile correction facility, go to jail or be sentenced to prison. Either case, one is left with a criminal record. Employment may be difficult to find for an adult, one may be shunned from society - live life with fewer friends - not too much fun!
The best reading material that you can present to your daughter (children) would be from the police department. All you need to do is contact your local P.D. and ask them to send you the materials.
If you wish for further information, please let me know.
I wish you and your children/family the best.
Peace, Love & Happiness,
The Mystic Wave
