  • I have never been able to point my toes forward (plantar flexion)
    I have never been able to point my toes forward (plantar flexion) I believe it is due to ankle problem or both? I don't have any pain in the area, but I know my gait is not normal. I have extreme tension in the neck (military neck), shoulders, low back tightness soreness upon waking. Is there a general name for this? I am trying to find a link between neurological, musculoskeletal, and endocrine problems. I have seen some information linking thyroid problems that manifest in certain areas.

    My wife, Lynda, just discovered a bonelike bump (a node??) at the base of her middle finger: on the palm side. About the size of a small pea. It hurts when she hits it. I have never heard of finger tumors, but is this something serious that we should be worried about? Even if not, any ideas what it might be and what treatment we should do for it? See a doctor? Soak it? Etc.??

    She's 49 by the way.
