Customer Question

In December, I smashed my knee on the ground after tripping over a box and subsequently a week later slipped on ice and hit it again. I have seen an orthopedist and they had an MRI and x-rays done and all they can come up with is peteluar femoral syndrome and have released me from care and PT. My knee still feels like it is tearing just like when I first injured it, is this normal for what they have diagnosed? Also, could this be due to the fact I also have a weak left ankle?

Already Tried:
Seen an orthopedist, ibuprofen 800mg which did not reduce the pain, ice makes it 10x worse, and heat is the only thing that makes it feel better
