In December, I smashed my knee on the ground after tripping over a box and subsequently a week later slipped on ice and hit it again. I have seen an orthopedist and they had an MRI and x-rays done and all they can come up with is peteluar femoral syndrome and have released me from care and PT. My knee still feels like it is tearing just like when I first injured it, is this normal for what they have diagnosed? Also, could this be due to the fact I also have a weak left ankle?
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Female Person's Age: 23 Already Tried: Seen an orthopedist, ibuprofen 800mg which did not reduce the pain, ice makes it 10x worse, and heat is the only thing that makes it feel better

hi. yes they are all connected, but don't you want to ask this in the orthopedic part of this website? you have a neurologist
here is a webpage on patellofemoral syndrome
http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/308471-overview
I can switch you to the ortho group if you want to discuss it with them
thats what I tried to do and something happened with the system, please do if you can
sure just hang on Dr Frank T.
hi. for some reason they are sending this to a moderator so I am unable to change it directly to orthopedics, so hang on, you may get an email directing you to ortho ok? don't hit the accept button now or you will get billed.
