Customer Question

Hi, over the last year I've gained a bit of weight. I'm in the process of losing it now, but I found a pea sized lump under my rib on my left side. It's a bit tender. I don't recall it being there before. Can it be due to the visceral fat I've gained or could it be cancer? Are there lymph nodes in that area? It's making me nervous.

yes, abdominal and visceral fat can cause a small lump under the rib on the left side close to the skin.

a benign skin lymph node can be felt there as well

this doesn't sound like cancer
