I had a barium swallow test done today for GERD. These are the results. Is this bad? Can you explain the results to me.

Hello this is Dr. Salama MD,

This is essentially a normal study but there was a mild abnormality signifying that your esophagus was not able to pass the contents through fully while you were laying down.

Again, not significant but that's what it showed.

There was no reflux appreciated on the exam either.

I know what that part meant, but what about the part about the stomach not emptying in the supine position? It says mild. Is that normal. Could there be a reason behind it? Does that mean I have some scary disease or something
