have left frontal en plaque meningioma 1914 MRI said measurements 1.8x3.0cm and .4 cm thick. New MRI 16 months later says 2.8x.o9 cm in coronal dimension and 2.7 cm in anterior-posterior dimension.Is it getting bigger??? Where do we go from here. I'm 68 yrs old

I think you mean 2014 MRI scan.

it may be getting slightly larger.

it looks like it is going from 0.4 to 0.9cm thick

and 1.8 to 2.8cm

and 3.0 to 2.7cm in size.

ask your doctor to ask the radiologist to compare both MRI scans to see if it is getting larger

ask if there is any swelling or T2 changes around the meningioma.

most meningiomas can stay stable for years and years.

a small percentage can slowly increase over time and need to be removed with surgery or given radiation therapy to stop its growth.
