Female 55 - Gallbladder polyp posterior wall now 12mm on ultrasound. "GB is contracted". Out very soon (Lapro). But why "contracted".? BTW No thickening mentioned

the gall bladder wall can be contracted from scar tissue or from chronic inflammation from repeated prior episodes of inflammation.

that is good you are scheduled for a laproscopic cholecystectomy.

that will tell for sure what is going on in the gall bladder once it has been removed surgically.

I doubt cancer will be found in the gall bladder
