I am worried my primary care doctor is missing diagnosis

Customer Question

I am worried my primary care doctor is missing diagnosis clues for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (few primary care doctors are trained to make non-hodgkins diagnosis beyond the obvious "B" symptoms present in only 1/3 of cases). When I call cancer departments
I am told "you need a confirmed biopsy of cancer before one of our cancer specialists will see you". Circular logic: if my primary doctor is clueless as to how to diagnose, and I cannot be seen by specialist without confirmed diagnosis, what do I do?
