Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.

those size lymph nodes in the retroperitoneum and paracaval area are normal size

they can easily be seen on a CT Scan

radiologist will sometimes report them

but nodes that size don't mean anything

and are not a sign of cancer
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

the redialgey reported mild enlargment lymph nodes does that mean cancer

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I am sorry that report said 1.6x08 cm lymph node is seen and several paracaval that is it

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
mild enlargement retroperitoneal lymph node does NOT mean cancer.

1.6 x 0.8cm lymph node does not mean cancer.

that is a normal sized lymph node.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

dr david you have always been very good if i have cancer would my cbc be abnormal or normal

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

are these nodes in the groin where women get cancer or where are these nodes

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

does that mean lemphoma any bad thing

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
you don't have cancer.

you don't need CBC or blood counts to tell you don't have cancer.

these retroperitoneal lymph nodes are in front of your spine

it doesn't mean lymphoma or cancer

you don't have cancer

so these nodes have nothing to do with obgy in women they are not in groin

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
they are not in the groin

you don't have to worry about obgyn cancers spreading there.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

so obgy cancers have other lymph nodes around them

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
yes, obgyn cancers have other lymph nodes around them in the pelvis.

retroperitoneal lymph nodes are above the pelvis.

so why does that report says mild retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy and what causes that

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
these lymph nodes are part of your body's immune system.
your kidney infection would have caused the lymph nodes to be like this.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

How about urinary tract infection can that be the cause . I know that does not sound rught but when things go wrong and doctores tell you I do not know it makes a person crazy and scared . and make the keep reading . also it says Hiv has swallen glands would this be one of them

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
you need to stop reading online.

UTI could cause it possibly as well.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

what are the swallen lymph nodes in Hiv where are they swallen I paid my doctor a lot of money and they are not good

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
HIV doesn't always cause swollen lymph nodes

and when it does, they can be anywhere in the body

why are you worried about HIV?

you don't have to worry about HIV because of this lymph node.

I guess because it says cancer and Hiv have enlarged lymph nodes and I can not understand why does the cat scan says what it did and the report says mild enlarged lymph nods I am sorry I am worried about all that stuff i guess because i do not feel good and i am scared

Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.
it sounds like your anxiety is out of control with worry here

no matter what I say, you continue to worry

most likely until you get better control of your anxiety and see a psychologist or psychiatrist about your worry symptoms, you will continue to worry about this lymph node.
