Hello, What is your hematologist's diagnosis? What did bone marrow biopsy and CT scans reveal?
Hello?
Hemo. Diag., MDS Myelodysplastic syndrome unspecified. Bone marrow biopsyrevealed no leukemia. I don't have the total results of the marrow test. I was told at this time I'm at the low risk factor. The CT scan showed normal liver and spleen.
The Vidaza injection is Azacitidine that I questioned.
Thank you for the information. I know what Vidaza is. I would recommend your getting a second opinion in-person from another oncologist as well. From what you post, I would NOT recommend a person start Vidaza ; but the critical factor is that I cannot see your bone marrow slides for review.
