Most bruises form when small blood vessels (capillaries) near the skin's surface are broken by the impact of a blow or injury. When this happens, blood leaks out of the vessels and initially appears as a bright or dark red, purple or black mark. Eventually your body reabsorbs the blood, and the mark disappears.

Abnormal bruise {without any trauma} is not normal for sure. I am happy that it is not on the breast which would have made me think of recurrence of the lesion in the breast.

I would think of other causes like low platelet count, clotting factor deficiency or other bleeding disorders in your case. Causes like effect of medicines {blood thinners, steroids, dietary supplements such as fish oil and ginkgo/ ageing {due to thinning of blood vessel walls} also need to be looked for.

A physical evaluation along with blood tests will give us more answers.
