Hello,Where are the bruises {are they on the breast or over the body}?
cancer arm and cancer leg mainly, none on the breast itself.
Hello,Most bruises form when small blood vessels (capillaries) near the skin's surface are broken by the impact of a blow or injury. When this happens, blood leaks out of the vessels and initially appears as a bright or dark red, purple or black mark. Eventually your body reabsorbs the blood, and the mark disappears.Abnormal bruise {without any trauma} is not normal for sure. I am happy that it is not on the breast which would have made me think of recurrence of the lesion in the breast. I would think of other causes like low platelet count, clotting factor deficiency or other bleeding disorders in your case. Causes like effect of medicines {blood thinners, steroids, dietary supplements such as fish oil and ginkgo/ ageing {due to thinning of blood vessel walls} also need to be looked for.A physical evaluation along with blood tests will give us more answers.Wish you well.Let me know if you want me to explain anything in more detail. If you feel the need to click either " Bad service" or "Helped a little", please stop and reply via the CONTINUE CONVERSATION button with the issue you have. I will be happy to explain more on the specific concern.Good luck
