Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and am ready to help.

The most common side effects associated with Ganoderma lucidum are dizziness, dry nose and throat, headache, and skin irritation that may involve itching or a rash. A small percentage of patients experience mild gastrointestinal discomfort when taking Ganoderma lucidum. Symptoms may include upset stomach, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Ganoderma lucidum may lower blood sugar levels or blood pressure, so people taking medications for these purposes should be cautious about taking reishi supplements.

Two cases of hepatoxicity causing death in one case have been reported with use of powdered reishi mushroom

A case of chronic diarrhea was reported in a 49-year-old man with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma following prolonged consumption of powdered extract of resihi mushroom

what other questions do you have?

Customer replied 328 days and 18 hours ago.

I am not satisfied at all with the answer. I clearly stated that I had already gone thru www.livestrong.com and all links there concerning Granoderma lucidum and eventual side effects or dangers. The experts answer doesn't contain a iota more of information (I asked and paid for high detail), but definitely LESS! On top of this, my question was NOT an oncology but a GENERAL question, and the link site given by the expert to read more (the information of which I had already had gotten via livestrong.com!) did NOT respond to the search term "granoderma lucidum" . Under these circumstances I can by no means accept the answer, am not willing to continue, and request an IMMEDIATE AND COMPLETE REFUND of the amount I have paid (70.- CHF).
