Do you have access to a test light?

Disconnect the electrical connector at the ignition control module. Turn the key ON. Connect test light clip to positive battery terminal, then repeatedly touch the test light probe to the purple wire at the ignition control module connector. The injectors should pulse each time you do this. If they do, the ignition control module will need to be replaced.
