Hello, if the fans are coming on as they should it is most likely due to a clog in the radiator or wear of the water pump impellers. I would suggest flushing the cooling system as the first step in diagnosis and repair.

It's weird because it was leaking antifreeze , then I took it to fix , now it doesn't heat up as fast , it over heats slowly once stopped

Was any kind of stop leak product used when it was leaking?
Expert:  K, Wiggins replied 2 years ago.
Those type of products will clog the radiator and heater core and cause this type of condition

Noo I had replaced a hose and a sensor
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Oh okay , well yes I never have used any of those

Thanks, ***** *****'s doing it more so sitting than moving I would look at a flow issue to beginUsing a flush and fill kit by prestone would be a good start.

I had recently put new coolant the day that i stopped the leaking , it could still be effective to the heating?

Did you bleed the air from the cooling system after refilling?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No i didn't

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
It's a 4 cylinder

Hi, I see your expert opted out, so you still need assistance?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes , my car overheats after a while or driving it , and I checked my fans in the front when I turn on the car and they don't go on ?
Expert:  GM Tech Cam replied 2 years ago.
Ok, does it overheat when driving at highway speed or lower speeds? Do the fans go on when turning the AC on?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Noo most of the time it over heats while stopped , and no they don't

Ok there are a handful of fuses to check. First the cool fan 1 and the cool fan 2 in the underhood fuse block. See if those are bad. IF not then remove the can control relay 2 and use a jumper wire to jump the pins 30 to 87 using the numbers stamped in the bottom. See if the fan turns on.
