2004 olds bravada: the service engine soon light came..malfunction

Resolved Question:

I have a 2004 olds bravada in which the service engine soon light came on again. the code is for the secondary air pump. the dealer fixed that malfunction 4 months ago,$660. Is this a common problem? what does it do and is it important to fix it again?

The P0410 code for secondary air injection will falsely set when the O2 sensor is bad. There is a bulletin out on this malfunction. Replacing the O2 sensor will fix the problem and the cost will be roughly $110 to replace.
