Xeros Phasar 6180 started out with paper jam from tray 2. Pulled out down. Was small piece let. Got out. But not continues to say "Jam at Reg. Roll Open Door A" and will not go off and can not get menu to respond
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Xerox is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: At least 5 years Xerox Phasor 6180
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Mac OS 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Refiled paper tray
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: The message allowed me to try to solve problem but now message as stated above is constant. Have tried turning off.

There may still be a small fragment of paper stuck inside the machine if a sheet of paper got torn in it.

Try manually pushing a piece of thin, stiff card through the machine to help clear any blockages.
