You definitely need to reset the HFSI counter (or similar) for the fuser, in the service functions. I have no exact guide myself for this, but this YouTube video, though unfortunately on a Spanish-language model 7220, does at least seem to show some indication as to the process, starting by holding down the 0 key for a while, then pressing START also while doing so, after a fairly long interval... or the like:
This is a procedure supposed to work properly and to outline what is done in the video:
Press and hold 0 for 5 seconds or longer then pres Start.Enter 6789 then ENTER.This gets into service mode or diagnostics mode.Find the HFSI counters.
