We have a Brother 7820N printer and fax machine. We're having an issue where, every time the fax machine is on, the printer printouts are all scrambled. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello, my name is Rusty. When things go haywire, it is usually caused by a processor either hung up, or going out. Especially since you unplug it to fix it, that could be the case here.

Unplug the printer and hold the power button for one full minute to drain any residual power.

That will free up the processor. If it acts up again, uninstall the driver and reinstall it on your computer, and tell me the results.
