I am wondering when I should expect a period after having

Customer Question

I am wondering when I should expect a period after having withdrawl bleeding after taking plan b. Expected time or within a week of expected time?
JA: Are you in any pain? How regular are your periods?
Customer: Not in pain, but withdrawl bleeding is heavy as if it were a true period. They are pretty regular--- anywhere from 25-29 day cycle. As tracked, the last few months have been a 25 day cycle.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Prone to ovarian cysts

it may take you a full month or two to have another period after taking planned b

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I have heard from others that it should happen within 2-3 weeks after withdrawl bleeding.
Expert:  Dr David replied 6 months ago.

it could happen that soon, but it could take 1-2 months to get a regular period after taking planned b

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
if withdrawl bleeding lasts 5-7 days, would I no longer consider it withdrawl bleeding since it is as heavy as a period and consider it a period instead?
Expert:  Dr David replied 6 months ago.

yes, it is like period bleeding

that is why it could take 28 days or a month for you to have another period.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Withdrawl bleeding and periods aren't the same thing though, even I know that.
Expert:  Dr David replied 6 months ago.

but heavy bleeding from your uterus can change the dates of your cycle and cause you to sometime even miss your next period
