This type of scaly skin with severe itching is usually due to a chronic fungal infection. Fungal infection occurs very fast in skin areas which are warm and humid - since the thighs remain covered most of the time, the chances of the skin picking up a fungal infection is quite high. Continuous itching and peeling of the skin can cause the skin to become scaly with a dry rash

Please wear loose clothes which allow the skin to breath. Skirts or loose cotton pants are ideal.
