Hi Dr. Ashori here, give me a moment to read your question and reply.

okay

It sounds like it could be an ingrown hair.

Hear the clitoris you don't have any structures that could cause an abscess and it's rare to have a sebaceous cyst or gland there.

How large would you say it is?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
i thought that too but its by the area where hair doesnt really grow, its usually light blond hairs. not large, small. but i can feel this huge lump/hair under its weird.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
yeah thats why i didnt thinkn it was an ingrown hair because it feels to thick for that area
Expert:  Dr. Mo replied 2 months ago.

The only other possibility is an epidermoid cyst, those are hard, about 0.5" across and painful if squeezed.

They aren't dangerous but bothersome and take some time to go away.

If you feel comfortable uploading a picture I can give you more information.

I haven't seen the image come through yet, looks like you're trying to upload it but I can't see it, do you mind trying again?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
okayyy
Expert:  Dr. Mo replied 2 months ago.

I see it now, just a moment.

So, that's not an ingrown hair, agree with you.

That's an epidermoid cyst. Very benign.

Take a look at the smaller white bumps in the picture (thanks for taking such a clear image, usually they are very blurry) and you will see that those are actually non-functional hair follicles (epidermoid follicles). This larger bump has just a lot of sebum in it, think of it as a large black head under the skin.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
okay so i can pop it? if so how because ive been trying so hard and its starting to annoying me. also, is that why i feel a hard "hair" under the bump? its a blackhead?
Expert:  Dr. Mo replied 2 months ago.

No please don't try to pop it, it will get much larger and more angry looking.

Warm compresses and avoiding friction, that's the way to manage it.

There should be no hair there, you might be feeling something there but that is likely the sebum that has formed a sack.

Give it time and it will go away perfectly fine on its own.

Expert:  Dr. Mo replied 2 months ago.

It can take up to 3 months for this to go away so don't despair.

The swelling will usually be much less even after 1-2 weeks though.

okay thankyou so much

Not a problem.
