Hi, Dr Ashori here. How long has this been going on for and have you had a test done to make sure there is no infection by either a bacteria or yeast?
The infection may have since returned. It would be a good idea to be tested again. If it is caused by BV then another round of antibiotics might be the best option.
If you have a partner then your partner may need to get treated as well. Though BV is a bacterial infection that's not considered an STD it can be passed from female/female or female/male sexual relationships.
Probiotics are another option if you haven't tried it already.
There are specific formulations for women that can be taken orally though there are vaginal suppository kinds available as well.
