I do have a fallen what do you call it. It protrudes out of the vagina area. I'm not bleeding bleeding there was just some there when I wiped. help me please!!

Dear,

Thanks for all these additional details.

Well, It is is not normal to have sudden blood from vagina after not having periods for many years.

This should be further evaluated by your Gynecologist. Possible reasons for such bleeding are-

-Hormone problems,

-Atrophy of the vagina,

-Polyps (small growths) in the uterus or on the cervix,

-Hyperplasia (enlarged cells) of the lining of the uterus,

-Ovarian tumor.

You will be requiring pelvic examination, hormone blood tests along with a vaginal ultrasound scan for evaluation of cause.

If this is related with cervical polyps, then you may need to have them removed.

For hormone imbalance you would be prescribed with oral medications and injections.

The line of treatment would be advised according to the cause.

Please see your Gynecologist and get it clinically evaluated.

Hope this helped

I do not want to go to a dr. It's not heavy bleeding, could stress be causing this?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
it's just when I wiped, there was some.

Dear,

I understand that bleeding was not heavy and was a little spotting and occurred only once.

Well, Around 90% of these cases will have no obvious cause, or prove to be caused by a minor problem, often not requiring treatment.

yes, it is true that particularly stressful or emotional event or due to an unexpected spurt of hormones could cause such light bleeding.

Yes, emotional stress, could cause such light bleeding.

In case, you get heavy bleeding or repeated such episodes, then it should be checked by doctor.

Otherwise, it can be ignored. No need to worry.

As this happened only once, So yes you can safely wait. No need to panic.

Hope this helped
