I'm a 20 year old female. I tried losing my virginity last

Customer Question

I'm a 20 year old female. I tried losing my virginity last year twice but it was too painful. The guy I had sex with said it's not supposed to be that painful so I did some research and found out about vaginusmus. I tried home treatments but I didn't have enough mental strength so i bought numbing cream
Lidocaine. ......and i have had successfully intercourse with no pain with it. But recently it slightly hurts all the time. I had sex with it today and the vestibule of my vagina it's swollen, red, and burns badly what could it be. I have pictures too

the symptoms you describe are very likely caused by infection, may be yeast or other kind of bacteria. Please visit your OB/GYN for examination, treatment then depends on the result.

Hope you get well soon, kind regards,

Dr. N. Scheufele

ok, it´s not yeast but it looks like a bacterial inflammation. The OB/GYN will make a diagnosis by smear test to decide about the treatment. Sitz bathes with a chamomile liquid from pharmacy can ease the pain.
