I was diagnosed with Oral HPV last September. I 't know how

Customer Question

I was diagnosed with Oral HPV last September. I don't know how or when I became infected. Have been completely celibate for 20 years. Recently, I met someone with whom I'd like to have a future. How do I proceed?

You mean warts in the mouth?

Warts are HPV.

It is all over the environment.

You could easily transfer a wart virus from your finger to your mouth.

Most people are not affected by wart viruses.

This should not interfere with sex at all.

If you mean oral herpes, over 80% of adults have that.

It is not really a sexual disease.

Most people are not affected. Cold sores are common.

Simply let your partner know.
